Connected websites only see your gender, age category and location. We turn your date of birth into an age category, and if you live in a smaller town, we'll broaden your location to a region. Your name and email address stay completely hidden. The profile you share simply isn't enough to identify you.
Without Upod
When you accept cookies or log in, websites collect data about you. They track what you click, read and buy, then share it with third parties. You have virtually no control over any of it.
With Upod
You decide what each website gets to see. Nothing gets stored, nothing gets passed on. Simple as that.
Upod uses Solid, the internet protocol that gives people control over their own data.
Your Upod data is stored on a Solid server in the Netherlands.
Upod is built around one idea: you stay in control. Update your personal data or your consent settings whenever you like.
